Goldfish--the under-rated pet

It's a shame that some aquarium enthusiasts seem to overlook goldfish as pets. They have very unique personalities. I tend to be most fond of the orandas due to their calm demeanor and compatibility.

Over time, they can become quite tame and will literally eat right out of your hand. Here's Sable enjoying a "doughnie" (cheerio). Her large wen makes it difficult for her to see food. Sable's other tank mates are also orandas, so food competition isn't much of an issue. She still prefers to be hand-fed and have most foods dropped right "down the hatch".
