This is the summer project currently known as "the hole" that is going to be a koi pond. It's coming along nicely. It's approximately 11 x 14' and will be around 3000 gallons when finished.
The angle of the photo is a little strange but I wanted to get Anya in the crop. She was taking a little break from grooming and came out for an inspection.
Sadly the one wheel gave out on the "goat cart" this evening that we've used for lots of construction jobs. It had faithfully been hauling away the dirt from the pond
After shooting the pond photos; I glanced over my shoulder and was greeted with this sight. Although Koral played pond inspector yesterday; apparently she needs to approve the additional work done today.
Oh--and here's more help. Warrior really does have eyes under there. I just banded him yesterday but the short hairs have fallen down again. The long hair there on the top of his head is around 14" long now.
