Here are some of the ryukin babies that were born June 27. They're only about 3/4" long but are looking more like their parents every day and starting to lose the wild coloring and develop pigment. These two look metallic gold but I imagine that will change over time as both parents are a bright red color. The camera has managed to pick up the detail in their tiny scales. They're now eating crushed adult food but still enjoy the baby brine shrimp as well.
