We have a few pretty leaves now and I'm hoping that it might produce a blossom this year. Right now, the water in the tub is full of tadpoles. I'm not sure if the toad from fairy garden laid them or the visiting frog prince.
This particular variety is supposed to be winter hardy in our zone. The first lotus that I started inside back in February never even rooted. :(

Here's the Pickerel Rush with a bloom. I got these plants the first year that we moved into the house. Last year, I gave away most of them when I redid the goldfish pond. They just keep multiplying and are extremely hardy.

This is a scarlet monarda in the fairy garden that is just about to bloom. I'm hoping that some hummingbirds stop by. Wouldn't that be perfect?

The completed fairy door ready to be installed into fairy garden. It is fully functional (I.E. the door really opens). It will be installed into the porch and will open into a real fairy room.

A snapdragon just below fairy garden. It reminds me of fruit punch.

And last but not least, some seedlings. A nice lady named Abbie sent me a variety of seeds.
