Yesterday, we added the above ground goldfish pond. It isn't pretty at the moment but it works. The filter eventually will be at the back rather than the side and the entire thing will be made into a natural looking stone waterfall.

The ryukins were very happy in this greenwater and have been exhibiting spawning behavior. They are much too fat bodied to jump out but were flipping about and the chase is ON! The water still looks disgusting to us but the fish seem to love it.
The water lettuce is back in the upper pond. The waterfall now has netting across it so that anything bigger than a 1/2" square can't be dumped into the koi pond below.
While we ran to town today, the wind got my tiki umbrella and blew it into the koi pond. It had greenwater inside and out. Ewwwwwwwwwwwww! Fortunately, the net kept it from going down in and the new hose sure came in handy for that clean-up job.
